Brazos Missions, based in College Station, Texas, is a unique Christ-centered ministry with activities and programs centered around a planned future venue designed to provide volunteers from across Texas and neighboring states what we call “a carpenter’s experience.” That experience is to replicate Jesus’s own vocational experience as we strive to provide no-cost home repair to deserving low-income and elderly homeowners in the Brazos Valley region of Central Texas. This critical aid to the disadvantaged strengthens the fabric of our local communities by enabling these homeowners to age in place with dignity, thus extending the quality of their lives and eliminating the need for high-cost elderly care. Brazos Missions will establish Brazos County and the Brazos Valley as a preferred destination for this type of ever-popular “do-it-yourself” mission work, serving God’s people while bolstering a spiritual awakening in those who work with us.
