DEVOTION # 1

Where God leads! Wow what a fantastic statement.  Let me add a word to express the thought even further!

Where does God lead?

To a place of fellowship ---- to a place of service. To a place where we give ourselves to God and then each other.

2 Corinthians 2:14

Now thanks be to God, which always causeth us to triump in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

And our duty is to make manifest the savour of his knowledge in every place that he is a loving God, rich in mercy, not willing that any should perish! A love so strong and endearing that he took the lead in providing a Savior for lost humanity!

Calvary is ever the place where God leads! It is in Resurrection where there is a New life and the beginning of a new journey! Come go with us as we follow God as he leads!

DEVOTION # 2

A LOVE THAT PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING!

In a world gone mad and the love of many waxed cold there is a Word, a Word from Heaven about the overabounding love of a Father concerning his creation.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He did not love us from afar but got close enough for us to bruise him. Jesus said, " No greater love than this that a man lay down his life for his friends! But when was I ever his friend?

Paul the Apostle says that he was formally a blasphemer, a persecutor of the Church and injurious but said that Jesus loved him and gave himself for him! Dear sinner is this what we are running from?

Galatians 1:4

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD AND OUR FATHER.

Gerald Wheaton

I became a Christian in 1979. I was saved at a small Church of Christ in Spring TX. I was nineteen years old at the time. My unofficial call to ministry was in 1982 as I did Street ministry and home Bibles within the community! It wasn't until 1987 that I officially received a license to preach in the churches.  My claim to fame is that I was blackballed, threatened with physical violence and run off a month after being licensed.  I spent the next 16 years wandering in the wilderness. In July 2003 I rented a vacant building and with the help of a few friends started Grace Bible Church of Willis TX. in which I am the pastor unto today. We have a motto at the Church, Staying the course which is what I have done since answering God's call on my life. Facebook has done a lot to help get exposure for me and the Church. Still don't get much fellowship with other churches but things are changing for the good. Doors are being opened.
